Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships Value for Money – Self Assessment
Achieving value for money solutions is important for CDRPs under the government’s new framework.
This self-assessment toolkit will help your CDRP implement better value for money.
Five sections each covering 12 questions on themes of communities, resources, performance,
value for money and capacity can be used for self assessment against the new framework for CDRPs set out by the Home Office,
which includes the six Hallmarks of Effective Partnerships.
View the Home Office guidance.
This tool is structured to allow a CDRP to identify their progress in achieving
value for money outcomes, by assessing what they are doing well and where they might need
to improve using four judgements: a lot to do, needing attention, making good progress and
being well established. CDRPs can decide to complete each section individually if they choose.
The main purpose of the tool is to provide a basis for CDRPs to develop their own action plans.
All completed self-assessments are confidential to the organisation but CDRPs can opt to enter contact
details. The user of the tool will be able to
keep a copy of their self assessment and send a copy of their responses to other organisations if they
so wish for voluntary benchmarking, sharing and learning.
